Artist and Sculptor

I am interested in convex and concave shapes , the edges and relationship of  forms in expressing an idea, thought , or emotion.​ I am inspired by the natural world and the human condition. I feel blessed to live a life where I can create freely, and I gain intense joy in the process. the meditative experience of sculpting with stone has a particular pull for me,  as I appreciate the inherent challenges and variety in each stone.

My Journey

Largely a self taught artist, I give particular thanks to the Vermont Carving Studio . Located in West Rutland Vermont ,the studio offers classes and workshops for all levels of skill. It is here where my basic skills were fostered and encouraged. As I have grown with my knowledge, I have  encouraged others and shared of my interest in the craft. The beauty of  art is in immersing ones self in the process, and to share in that is even more rewarding. It is my hope to continue to learn and create.
